PostSubject: Bats Brush   Fri 7 Nov - 23:38

I haven't had the inspiration to paint for quite some time so these pics are some years old now.

Wraysbury Green.   oils on canvas
The village of Wraysbury is West of London near Staines. The view of the windmill over the bowling green would be idyllic except for the noise of the aircraft climbing at full power from Heathrow Airport only a few miles away.

Clovelly.   oils on canvas
The village that time forgot, Clovelly, North Devon had been part of a private estate so has avoided much in the way of detrimental redevelopment. Traditionally, donkeys are the only transportation allowed on the steep cobbled high street down to the sea.

A Bloke, a Boy and a Beach.    acrylics on card
A scene painted from a holiday in Torquay, Devon many years ago....that young chap now stands several inches taller than me!

Cresswell Quay.   acrylics on card
Near Pembroke, Wales, the Quay at Cresswell once used to be a busy coal port but nowadays is a quaint backwater, well worth a visit if in the area.

Batty, these paintings are Brilliant, I especially like Clovelly myself, it is so detailed in every way. Batty you have a God given talent there and you should get back to it. I'd be delighted to see anything else you have done and hopefully WILL DO in the future. Thak you for posting them, they are GREAT. :z51:
