Do you like where you live?

I DO like my street yes.

Do you have nice nieghbours?

Yes we have, they are very private folks and only speak to a few folks, thankfully they pass the time of day with us. They always speak in the passing but that's okay. She is a specialist in hospital and travels all over, even as far down as London, don't know her title but she is the only one in the U.K. She and her husband are Croatian. They have a daughter about 10 years old. You wouldn't know it though, you barely hear a sound.

How was your weekend?

Just the usual quiet lazy weekend, the kind I love.

What are you doing today

Not a lot......Been up to the local shop for a few things earlier. Not planning anything today but to relax and enjoy my day posting around the forums.

How is your weather where you are right now? It's a lovely sunny day here and I hope you get a share.

I can't answer that Sheka so I asked Joe. He says he just takes it for granted that the Dr knows what he is prescribing to him and on the very rare occasion he got a tablet that made him feel sick (Vomiting) he phoned the Drs and the tablet was changed to something else. Other than that all medication he gets is okay for him.

When you were young did you ever get tempted to to try what they called a Reefer (Cigarette)

Nope........Never drank a lot anyway, I much preferred to go to the Cinema, when I did take a drink, I always stopped when I felt that woozy thing. Once I felt that the booze and me parted company.

As a young Adult did you stand in the doorway smooching with your boyfriend or round the side of the house where it was darker?

Joe was my one and only. I was only interested in going with girls to here, there and everywhere. I knew Joe as I grew up (but bot to talk to, he had a different set of friends, I had my own.) Anyway when I was 18 Joe who was 22 at the time needed a partner for a dinner dance and he asked me, the rest as they say IS HISTORY.

Did you know quite quickly that Johnny was the one for you?
I knew within a few dates that I wanted Joe around in my life and within 6 months that I hoped he wanted to marry me.

I first saw Johnny when I was still at school but as he is 4 years older than me he didn't want to know a school girl.I left school at 15 then made a drive for him,I knew the very first time I saw him he was the one.Once he knew I was at work he started talking to me and in a few months asked me out ,that was the start of a very long luv affair. We got married when I was 17 and never regreted it,He is my soul mate ,best friend, lover and my life I have never wanted anyone else.

When you look at your hubby do you see the young man he was or the more mature (older lol) man he is but in your heart he is still that young man you fell in luv with, only even better.

Got it in one Sheka, I often look at him and see the young man I so fell in love with. I love him more now than I did then (if that is possible)

No, between Lunch and Dinner we have a Coffee but nothing to eat. After dinner we never eat, don't even have a supper. At the weekend I have a Saturday night treat.

Do you ever re-read a book you like months or years after first reading it? I have sets of 5 stories I read over and over again.

Oops........here is the question I should have left nearly 11 hours ago.

Do you ever lay something down (Keys or Purse) and for the life of you, you just can't remember where you left them and that (if you are like me) means a whole house search..

Eh excuse me Madam, I have something exciting in my life........YOU LOT.

I have worked all my life and now that I am at this age, I thoroughly enjoy the indoor life, I am content with my lot, I am healthy with a loving husband and I love pottering around the house and LUV my online life with all my online friends. Yes, life is good.

When I was young, my husband used to come home and wonder if the furniture in the living room would still be in the same place as he left it in the morning. I was forever moving it around. These days I am not so fit, so it stays put a lot longer. were you the same way back then?

No I never did.........but I do remember when we were decorating the hallway once that was getting Ivory and White wallpaper, the thought that white paintwork would make it all bland looking, so I suggested that since the carpet on the floor had the smallest touches of red in it, the paintwork might look nice red too, not the doors, just the skirting and the facings round the doors. Never happened, Joe blew that right off, I thought it would look nice. Anyway, we picked a paper with a touch of red instead and the paint work was white. Problem solved.

In your early years, when quilts were all the fashion on top of the bed, did you just do the conventional thing and have it folded at the foot of the bed? I used to put mine in the shape of a fan at the foot of the bed.

Sabbi I assume you mean a bedspread, not a quilt as we use now,if so i used to put it right over the bed in the day time then turn it back at night.

No Sheka I mean quilt, in the days of blankets, we had a top quilt that fitted the top of the bed from the pillows down but no overhang, Mum used to fold ours down as well but I used to make a fan shape with it at the bottom of the bed. I thought I was very artistic. lol

No plants or flowers indoors at this time, I don't know how the cats would be with them. We had a Cheese plant many years ago and it grew into a very large plant, we loved it, after a good deal of time it started to look unhealthy and the top leaves were going brown, Joe tried everything but nothing worked. One day I came back into the room from the kitchen and caught Gizmo (the cat) urinating in the huge pot. When I told Joe he put fine wire (like a fence) around the pot. The cheese plant picked up again and we had it for many many years. We moved house and our neighbour asked if she could have it, as far as I know, it lived with her for many more years.

Do you have any Trees in your garden? We have 2, a Rowan tree and a Laburnum. The Laburnum tree puts out beautiful Yellow flowers but we live in an area that gets frequent windy weather so the flowers don't last long.

We don't have large trees as it's a small garden ,but we do have accers in pots and serval small bushes that have to be trimmed regular so they don't get too big.

We used to but at the moment the TV sits on a long unit we have. We only have the TV in the living room because the bedroom at the back is what we call the Computer room and Joe is there every night and is only interested in his computer. The other is our bedroom and we go to bed so late that it is only used for sleeping. We do have a tv in the corner of it but it is only there in case the main one breaks done and we would take that one from the bedroom downstairs.

Did you ever (if you had a pet) have a pet other than a Cat or Dog? I wasn't one for Guinea pigs or hamsters when I was young. A friends daughter had two Rabbits a couple of years ago, (about 15 years) anyway she was going to have a baby so she rehomed the rabbits, one to a lady near her and she asked me if I would take the other with the hutch on course. Anyway all went well till the winter set in and the rabbit spent more time indoors than outdoors. When the snow came I got Joe to help me lift the hutch into our kitchen overnight, during the day it was outside. Joe said that was the last straw, he knew a family that had recently lost their rabbit, so it went to them. I am glad they took it because It was getting that the rabbit was more indoors than out so eventually it would have been an indoor rabbit.
