Dust catching from drilling

I actually seen this many years ago on one of those diy shows on tv..if you need to drill a hole get an envelope and sort of puff it out and then tape it to the wall (with low tack stuff like masking tape) just below where you are going to drill so when you drill all the dust will fall into the open envelope..I've never tried it myself ...I usually fling an old sheet or towel down

Not too adhesive though else your see the wallpaper or paint being pulled off with the envelope, trust me I've been there
