Sounds great! I'm gonna look it up! The novel "let the hurricane roar" was very short but good! I liked the way she re-told the story! Still reading the 2 others ;)

reading "a time to kill" by john grishman.

second book i've ever read from him, the first being "the client"

i've really enjoyed the first, and so far, "a time to kill" looks to be another great pick.

of course, it's all about lawyers, court, murder, etc lol

i'm reading "Rainbows in the Mist" right now by P.Whitney.
so far, though i am only on page 30 or so, i have a good feeling about it. it's starting well. i think this will be a hit for me.

"Golden Unicorn" by the same author, is one of my absolute favs, and so right now, i'm delving into more of her works.

@ Cee
No, I didn't get a chance to see the movie... :( the book keeps me hooked up, so far it's another kind of vampire story as they are more gruesome, not the glamorous Twilight style ;)

@ Fyrefly
I'm pretty sure that you'd like that one!

Jeffery Deaver's The Blue Nowhere. A convicted hacker is taken out of jail to help track and catch a killer who hacks into whole systems for his next victim. Good thriller with no sex, just as I like it LOL

Sounds great! i like thrillers! especially when there is a good suspense.

I've started a fantasy novel, "Graceling" by Kristin Cashore. I like that you are right in the action with the first page! Kingdoms and people gifted with some powers, it starts with the rescue of an old prince, the rescue is led by a young woman gifted as a warrior and wow! she is good! get's the guards down on their knees... Yeah...girl power!!!  :gig:

Not really my scene Dao this fantasy theme, especially the fairer sex being macho, save it for the bedroom I say hiding behind Sheka.
My current read is a medical thriller by the man hisself, Robin Cook. The general theme is of a anesthesiologist who inadvertantly kills a young pregnant mother on the operating table. Halfway through and a good read so far but I bet he comes out on top
BTW the book is Harmful intent first published 1990 in the UK so one of his earlier outpourings.
He wrote Coma which later became a well publicised film where the old people in a retirement home suddenly regain their youth while having their daily swim

"Graceling" by Kristin Cashore was good lots of actions, adventure and a bit of romance... the end was good though i was a bit disappointed. I won't say anything in case someone would want to read it ;)

After that i read a good true story "True Haunting" by E. Becker very interesting, not a materpiece of literature but it was not a novel so i didn't mind. I know it was an honest testimony as many things that happened happened the same way in the house I grew up in.
Now i'm reading "Talking to Heaven" by J.V Praagh, quite interesting also.

Ok Ladies, have you now read the whole five books? fabulous weren't they? Next series Ladies is 'The Mallorean' five books again, and they are every bit as exciting, King Belgarion has a son now and he is just a child when he gets kidnapped, Ladies, another MUST READ. I have all ten books and never tire of reading them.  :hug6:
